The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Hoptown Hoppers, 4-3

The Railroaders ended a 4 game losing streak and ended the 1st place Hoppers' 4 game winning streak by coming from behind on Friday. Hoptown took a 1-0 lead in the 5th inning with a 2 out solo homerun from Kaleb Brown. The Hoppers added 2 more runs in the 7th on a 2 out, 2 RBI single from Nolan Fisher. The Railroaders tied the game in the 8th with a 2 out, 2 RBI single from newly acquired Billy O'Conner and another run scored on double errors from the Hopper infield. Bottom of the 9th, Angelo Burrage drove in the game winning RBI with a 2 out single scoring Quinton Alexander from 2nd base. 

     Both starters pitched a strong game with neither getting a decision. Fulton's Keaton Baker pitched 7 complete innings striking out 8, walking 3, allowing 6 hits with 3 earned runs. For Hopkinsville, Philip Menou threw for 7 2/3 innings achieving 12 strikeouts, no walks, giving up 8 hits and tagged for 3 runs (2 earned). Brock Downey pitched one inning in relief, and Daniel Szathmary the 9th to take the win for Fulton. Hopper Tyler Vails relieved Menou in the 8th for one out, and gave up 2 hits and 1 earned run in the 9th to get the loss.
