The Madisonville Pirates defeated the Owensboro Oilers, 9-4

(From Madisonville) Dillon Endecott pitched the Pirates to a 9-4 win in the first game versus Owensboro, giving up just seven hits, and Michael Edwards pitched a two hit, 6-0 shutout in the nightcap, as Tradewater pushed their record back above .500, as the Buccos had big innings in both games to send the Oilers to 9-21 on the season. The Pirates broke a 3-3 tie in the first, and won going away, and in the second contest punched home five runs in the 1st, to win with ease, behind Edwards, who at one time, retired 15 straight Oilers. The Pirates take Sunday off, and return home Monday to host a doubleheader with red-hot Fulton.
