The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Madisonville Pirates, 12-6

In 10 innings. The Railroaders and Pirates battled hard in game one of the Playoff's second round, with the Railroaders taking the victory in extra innings.

     The first lead was taken by the Pirates in the 1st inning as Kyle Neimeier walked and later scored on the first of 5 Railroader errors. Tradewater added a second run in the 5th when Trevor Haggard walked and made it home on another Fulton error.

     Top of the sixth inning the Railroaders final got on the board when Austin Bryant reached on a Pirate error, Rob Hogenkamp walked and Andrew Cash singled for 2 RBI to tie the game. The Railroaders took a 4-2 lead in the seventh inning with Angelo Burrage and Andrew Cash both getting RBI singles.

     The Pirates fought back in the bottom half of the 7th again using another error along with two RBI singles by Buddy Elgen and Ty Broady, and a RBI walk of Blake Massey with the bases loaded. Trailing 5-4, the Railroaders tied the game again in the 8th when Mikee Moore led off with a triple and scored on a wild pitch. Both teams remained scoreless in the 9th and the game headed into extra innings.

     In the top of the 10th, the Railroaders throttled up scoring 7 runs on six hits and an error to take a commanding 12-5 lead. The Pirates managed just one run in the bottom half of the inning. 

     Daniel Szathmary gets the win for the record with one inning pitched. Corey Ames takes the loss going 3 innings in relief and tagged with the go ahead run in the tenth. Both starters, Keaton Baker (Fulton) and Dillion Endecott (Madisonville) pitched strong games, both leaving the game tied.

      Both teams meet in Fulton on Thursday for game two of round two in the Playoffs.
