Upon the conclusion of he final 40 game schedule in the 2012 regular season the Hopkinsville Hoppers achieved the best record finishing 28-12 . Post Season Playoffs began on July 24 and each team in the OVL had an opportunity to compete in a post season championship series.  Fittingly, the top two teams in the regular season made it to the final round of the post season championship.  Following suit, the Hoptown Hoppers came from behind winning the final 2 games of the final round winning the championship title in addition to the regular season pennant. Congratulations to the Hoppers on their successful first season with the OVL.
