The Owensboro Oilers defeated the Marion Bobcats, 4-2

In Marion KY.  (From Marion) The 2013 Marion Bobcats greet one another as lineups are announced on opening night Sunday at Gordon Blue Guess Field in Marion. The Bobcats lost to Owensboro 2-4 to start the new Ohio Valley League season with a loss despite jumping out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning.
