(From Fulton) The Hoptown Hoppers (1-2) won their first game in Fulton against the Railroaders (1-3). A great pitching effort from starter Riley Sanderson throwing 8 innings of scoreless ball allowing only one hit, one walk one and striking out 7 batters. Isaac Behme takes the loss for Fulton going 6 1/3 innings giving up 8 hits, 3 runs (2 earned), walking 2 and striking out 2 batters.

     Brandon Powell topped the Hoptown offense going 2 for 4 and 3 RBI followed by John Beary 2 of 4 and scoring twice.  The Railroaders scored their only 2 runs in the bottom of 9th inning as a late rally brought the tying run to the plate.  With 2 out and 2 on base, Hopper closer Jake Bell finished off Fulton to seal the win. Between the first and last innings, Fulton could only managed to send 3 batters to the plate each inning.
