The Marion Bobcats defeated the Dubois County Bombers, 2-1

In 11 innings at Dubois County. (Game summary from Marion) For the second time in as many nights, the Bobcats had to go to 11 innings to settle the contest. On Saturday night, however, it was Marion (3-9) coming out on top, earning the team's first extra-inning win of the year and snapping a five-game skid.
     Saturday's 2-1 win at Dubois County (7-6), more importantly, was a victory for a pitching staff that been pushed around all season by opposing offenses. With a quarter of the season in the books, the game was the first time in 2013 the Bobcats held the opposition to fewer than three runs.

     Though Madisonville won to keep grasp of first place in the Ohio Valley League and remain five games in front of last-place Marion, the Bobcats picked up a full game on Fulton, Dubois County and Owensboro, tightening the standings in the second division.
