The Hoptown Hoppers defeated the Dubois County Bombers, 6-5
In 10 innings. (From Dubois County) Dubois County played host to Hoptown on Wednesday night. For the fourth straight home game nine innings would not be enough for the Bombers. Hoptown held a 5-4 lead in the 9th inning but would give up the lead in the 9th on a failed attempt to pickoff the runner at third. With two outs, the throw down to third base from the Hoptown catcher was wild allowing Shain Showers to score the tying run. However the Hoppers responded by scoring a run in the top of the 10th on Brad Sevenish's RBI sac fly.
Connor Strain started for Dubois County giving up 4 earned runs off 6 hits and striking out 6 batters in 5 and a third innings pitched. Riley Sanderson was the Hoptown starter. He gave up 4 runs in a little over 7 innings as he took the no decision. Ryne Long would come in for the Hoppers in the 9th and pitch through the 10th earning the win. Ty Simpson took the loss for Dubois County.
