(From Madisonville)  The story from the Pirate side is one of missed opportunities, both at the plate (fifteen base runners stranded) and in the field (six errors).  A bright spot was Alfredo Bohorquez, who went 4-5 with 1 R, 1 RBI, and 2 SB. Dathan Prewitt scored a run and had 3 RBI on a 1-2 night at the plate. 

For Marion, Paul Angel led the way at the plate, going 3-5 with two runs scored, two RBI, and a solo HR.

Neither starter figured in the final decision, with Austin Braddock getting the win for Marion and Kyle DeMeo getting the loss.
