(From Dubois County) Bombers win, 10-7 coming from behind to beat the Owensboro Oilers.
It was the Oilers who got on the scoreboard first, scoring 3 runs in the 1st inning off 3 hits. Christian McHatton delivered the biggest hit in the inning, a 2 RBI double; Tichenor and Newman had the other 2 hits in the inning both being singles. The Bombers responded in the top of the inning as Dane Giesler put Dubois County on the scoreboard with a RBI double that stayed just inside the third base bag but that's all they got in the 1st.
It was in the 5th when McHatton hurt the Bombers again with another 2 RBI double, that made it 5-1, Owensboro. Dubois County would add a run in the home half of 5th to make it 5-2 on a bases loaded walk. Dubois County took their first lead of the game a, 6-5 lead in the 7th but only to see Owensboro regain the advantage in top of the 8th to make it, 7-6. The Bombers would put the game away in the 8th, scoring 4 runs off 5 hits to take a commanding, 10-7 lead.
Offensively, the Bombers were led by Andre Davis, (2-4, 3 RBI, 3B.) Shain Showers had 2 RBIs, Giesler, Bo Ausmus, Hunter Serrato and Jarret Young each had 1 RBI. On the mound, Kyle Briner got the start for the Bombers getting the ND. Reliever Johnathon Williams worked the 8th to get the win and Clint Chestnut picked up the save.
