The Marion Bobcats defeated the Dubois County Bombers, 4-3

In 7 innings.  (From Marion)  In Game 2, the Bobcats took a 4-2 lead after five and held off a late rally in the final frame to secure a 4-3 victory and end one of the worst losing streaks in team history at eight games. Starter Dylan Stewart got the win for Marion (5-17) giving up only two runs in 4 1/3 innings. Scooter Hightower, a new addition to the team, gave up only three hits and a run in 2 2/3 innings for the save, only the second of the year for the Bobcats.
     On offense, Austin Braddock was 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored on a home run in the third. Balisterri, Evers, Ambrosch, Lawing, Cody Brown and Aaron King each added a hit. All were singles but Evers' double, also in the third inning.
