The Dubois County Bombers defeated the Marion Bobcats, 12-3

(From Dubois County)  Dubois County Bombers stayed above the .500 mark on the season with a, 12-3 win over Marion Bobcats. The Bombers used a two out rally to get the scoring going in the 1st. It started with Bo Ausmus hitting a double, Andre Davis driving home Ausmus on a RBI single and Chris Tavares finished the inning off with a two RBI double. In the 2nd inning Dubois County batted through the order and tallied five more runs. Marion then held Dubois County scoreless until the 6th, that's when the Bombers attacked for six hits in the inning.

     Kyle Briner took the mound for Dubois County pitching six solid innings and striking out five Marion batters. Briner was breezing through the contest until the Bobcats hitting came alive and scored three runs in the 5th. Cody Brown and Clint Ambrosch had the RBI hits for the Bobcats in the inning. Cody Morris took over for Briner in the 7th, working three scoreless frames to earn the three inning save.

     Dubois County saw plenty of contributions from throughout the lineup tonight. Andre Davis led the hitting with four hits and three runs batted in, Eric McKibban had three hits and a RBI, and Bo Ausmus, Tavares, Shain Showers and Jacob Armstrong contributed with two hits each. Dubois County moves the season record to (12-11) with the win and trail first place Hoptown by three games.
