The Dubois County Bombers defeated the Marion Bobcats, 10-6

(From Dubois County)  The Dubois County Bombers extend their winning streak to two games and also return to .500 (16-16) on the season after beating Marion, 10-6. The Bombers entered the game in 5th place, three games behind 2nd place Fulton.

     Casey Ryan, Bo Ausmus, Andre Davis and Shain Showers led the Bomber hitting attack en route to eleven hits for the game. Ryan finished, 3-4 with a double and two bunt singles. Davis supplied only one hit but drove in three to have 3 RBI for the game, while Ausmus and Showers got on base twice with two hits each. Ausmus' hits were doubles that drove in a pair of runs.

     Michael Paisley earned the win for the Bombers on the mound tonight, pitching five innings. Paisley gave up three runs, only one was earned, struck out two and walked three. Jackson White came in for Paisley, he struck out three batters in only an inning and a third of work. Clint Chestnut finished the last two and three thirds, scattering two hits, giving up one earned run and striking out a batter.
