In 7 innings. (From Madisonville)  The Madisonville Tradewater Pirates swept a doubleheader from the Dubois County Bombers Tuesday night at Elmer Kelley Stadium. The Pirates won Game 1 in a blowout, 14-3, and then fought back late to take the nightcap, 4-2.

     In Game 1, every Pirate batter scored at least one run with the exception of Austin Shives, who failed to score but collected two RBI with two sacrifice flies. Dathan Prewett and Robert Veltre each had three RBI, and Garrett Emling and Matt Sheneman each scored three runs to lead the offensive barrage. Starter Aaron Mason picked up the win, with Chad Cox pitching the final two innings in relief to finish the game.
