The Hoptown Hoppers defeated the Fulton Railroaders, 3-2

(From Hopkinsville) The Hoptown Hoppers claimed the rights to Regular Season Champions for the second year in a row as they beat out the Fulton Railroaders 3-2 Saturday night. Kyle Barbee had the start for the Hoppers and held the Railroaders to no hits through six innings.

     The Hoppers scored first in the bottom of the fourth inning off of a John Beary double and a sacrifice ground out by Seth Larue. They scored again in the fifth as Brandon Boggetto walked, stole second and third base, and was batted into home by a sac fly from Derek Ferch.

     The Railroaders evened the score in the seventh inning off of a ground rule double from Garrett O'Neill and a single from Taylor Stoulp.

     The Hoppers sealed the deal in the eighth inning with Trevor Lowe scoring off of a error. Riley Sanderson got the win for the Hoppers and Craig Caufield grabbed the save. Jake Shadix suffered the loss for the Railroaders.
