(From Marion) In 5 innings, game called for rain and complete.  The Bobcats fell to the Bombers Saturday 3-8 in a rain-shortened contest. The loss dropped Marion to 6-34 with only five games remaining before the postseason begins Thursday. It was the 16th consecutive loss for Marion. In fact, the Bobcats are winless this month.

     Scooter Hightower provided all of the offense for Marion, going 2-for-2 with 3 RBI. He also pitched three scoreless innings in the six-inning affair.
