The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Marion Bobcats, 8-4

In 7 innings. (From Fulton) For game two on the evening, both teams were better at the plate. The Bobcats led off the scoring in the first inning getting one run across.  Cody Brown walked to start the game, was advanced to third off single and a ground out, then scored from a Tyler Bonaventure RBI single.

     The Railroaders answered in the bottom of the first with 7 big runs. Both Ramon Valdez and Taylor Stoulp each had 3 RBI homers to highlight the inning.  The Railroaders hit six of their total 8 game hits in the first inning alone. 

     Marion put up another run in the second inning with Joe Tourville reaching on a double, going to third on a wild pitch, and scoring on a ground out RBI.

     Fulton added their final run in third.  Colton Simbeck was hit by pitch, stole second, then made home on a Bobcat error.

     The Bobcats clawed back in the 6th and 7th with one run in each inning. Tyler Bonaventrue hit a solo home run, and Brandon Waltman singled for a RBI driving in Joe Tourville who had reached on a singled. 

     Tyler Saltsman earned the win going 7 full innings, allowing 6 hits, 4 earned runs, 2 walks and had 9 strikeouts.  Bobcat starter Blake Thomas takes the loss for 2 2/3 innings of work giving up 7 hits, 8 runs (6 earned), 3 walks and struck out 2 batters. Scooter Hightower for 3 innings and Tyler Bonaventure for 1/3 finished the game for Marion.
