The visiting Owensboro Oilers handed the Madisonville Miners their 3rd straight loss.  The Miners scored in the 1st inning to take an early 2-0 lead.  The Oilers tied the game in the 2nd with a 2 RBI homer by Tyler Rachel.  The game remained tied at 2 each until the Oilers broke out in the 6h and 7th innings totaling 5 runs to make the score 7-2.  The Oilers added another run in the 9th and the Miners answered with their final run in the bottom half to end the game.  

      Alfredo Bohorques topped the Oilers offense going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI.  For the Miners, Jake Perry's one hit produced 2 RBI.  Taylor Grisham takes the win on the mound for Owensboro.  The loss goes to Mike Steele giving up the go ahead run after 2 1/3 innings pitched.
