The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Madisonville Miners, 5-4
The Railroaders won their second game of the season at the expense of the home team Miners in Madisonville. The Railroaders only two wins are against the Miners who are still looking for their first win of the season. After 6 innings of play the game was close at 4-3 in Fulton's favor. The Railroaders added another run in the 8th with the Miners matching the run in the bottom half inning. In the bottom of the 9th and the score 5-4 Railroaders, the Miners loaded the bases with one out but failed to scored.
Dylan Rajkovich lead Fulton going 3 for 4 scoring once and 1 RBI, followed by Dayton Rausch 2 of 4, 2 runs scored with a RBI. Adam Schuster topped out for Madisonville with 2 of 3 and scoring 3.
Fulton starter Dylan Smith takes the win on the mound for 6 innings of work giving up 6 hits, 3 runs (2 earned), with 6 strikeouts and no walks. Tyler Nichols earns a save throwing the final 1 1/3 innings. The loss goes to starter Tanner Koch who went 3 2/3 innings allowing 3 earned runs, 5 hits, and struck out 4 batters walking none.
