At Hopkinsville, Madisonville gave undefeated Hoptown a scare for the second night in a row.  Madisonville had a 5-1 lead after five innings, but the homestanding Hoppers scored three runs in the seventh inning, one run in the eighth inning, and the winning run in the ninth for the 6-5 final.

     The winning run was scored by Chris Carrier when Ben Fisher tripled with one out in the ninth inning. Trevor Blocker picked up the win in relief.
