The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Madisonville Miners, 5-2
In 7 innings at Madisonville. In game two both teams remained scoreless through 3 innings, and at the end of the 4th inning the game was tied at 1-1. The Railroaders broke into the lead in the top of 5th with 3 runs scored and the Miners answered in the bottom half with a single run for 4-2 score. Fulton added an insurance run top of the 7th for the final 5-2 total.
The Railroaders had 9 hits with 2 errors for the 7 innings. Troy Squires was 3 for 3 at the plated and one run scored. Jeremiah Spring and Reed Johnson (RBI) were both 2 of 4, and Riley Benner hit a 2 RBI double.
The Miners managed 4 hits with no errors on defense. Isaac Perry doubled and scored a run, with Cory Finkler and Tyler Woolbright each having a RBI.
Will Hazen gets the win for Fulton in relief pitching for 1 /13 innings, and Cory Main completed the final 2 1/3 innings to pick up a save. Miner starter Austin Bickerton take the loss with 5 innings on the mound.
