The Madisonville Miners defeated the Hoptown Hoppers, 5-3

(From Hopkinsville). Madisonville scored all of their runs in the second and third innings. Jake Perry led off the second with a single and Kevin Dupree followed with a 2-run home run. Josh Wetzel tripled later in the inning and scored on a passed ball, giving the Miners a 3-0 lead. The Miners scored 2 runs in the third inning off 4 hits.
     In the fourth inning the Hoppers scored a single run when Taylor Ellis was hit by a pitch, advanced to second on a single by Chris Carrier, moved to third on a wild pitch, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Mitchell Gallagher.
     Ben Rodriquez led off the bottom of the sixth with a home run reducing the Hoppers deficit to 5-2. Mitchell Gallagher scored the final run after being hit by a pitch and driven home by a double by Jeffrey Kammer.
     Austin Bickerton picked up the win allowing 3 runs in 6 innings of work. Miles Wagner picked up the save in relief.
     Geordie Carlson took the loss allowing 5 runs in 6.33 innings of work.
