The Oilers edged out over the Stallions in Muhlenberg to win their fourth straight game. Scoring first the Stallions held a 3-1 lead through four innings. Top of the fifth saw the Oilers plate 4 runs with the Stallions answering with one in the bottom half of the innings to make it a 5-4 score in favor of Owensboro. The Oilers continued adding runs scoring one each in the sixth through eighth innings. Bottom of the eighth Muhlenberg rallied to put up 3 runs but fell short by one run giving the Oilers the victory.
