The Dubois County Bombers defeat the Madisonville Miners, 15-1
(From Madisonville) The Dubois County Bombers snapped the Miners' ten-game winning streak with a 15-1 in Madisonville on Saturday night. The Bombers pounded out 15 runs on 19 hits and held the Miners to only 1 run on 3 hits. The Bombers score in six consecutive innings to blow the game wide open and cruise to victory.
Bomber starter Matthew Munden earned the Win, pitching seven shutout innings, allowing only two hits, three walks, and striking out seven. Miner starter Garret Sendelbach took the loss for Madisonville.
The win gave Dubois County third place in the OVL standings with a 20-12 record, while Madsonville remained in second place at 22-11 overall.
