Dubois County Bombers out-hit Owensboro RiverDawgs eight to five, but it wasn't enough in a 4-3 loss on Saturday

Owensboro RiverDawgs opened up scoring in the first inning when Wyatt Daly singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Dubois County Bombers knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the third inning, when Jake Lewis singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Owensboro RiverDawgs pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Danny Torres's sac fly scored one run for Owensboro RiverDawgs.

Chase Thomas took the win for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out one and walking one. Seth Price and Cam Curry entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Curry recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Owensboro RiverDawgs.
