Dubois County Bombers's Strong Offense Falls Just Short To Muhlenberg County Stallions

Both Muhlenberg County Stallions and Dubois County Bombers had their offenses going on Monday, but Dubois County Bombers eventually succumbed 13-6 in the high-scoring affair.

The Dubois County Bombers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Muhlenberg County Stallions, giving up 13 runs.

Dubois County Bombers got on the board in the second inning. Dubois County Bombers scored one run when Chase Andrews doubled.

Muhlenberg County Stallions pulled away for good with seven runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Jacob Kucia doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Bryson Horne singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, Javy Lopez singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs, and Hunter Combs doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Dubois County Bombers notched four runs in the eighth inning. The offensive onslaught by Dubois County Bombers was led by Evan Aders, Nolan Ramsey, and Trevor Ricker, all driving in runs in the frame.

KC Bryan earned the win for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out seven. Charlie Cokley and Brady O'Neil entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Ryan Luckett took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. He surrendered four runs on three hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Brad Fuhrhop, Ramsey, Andrews, Jake Lewis, Payton Mattingly, Tobe Whitten, Tanner Craig, Aders, and Ricker each collected one hit to lead Dubois County Bombers.

Muhlenberg County Stallions tallied ten hits in the game. Justen Voghel, Eddy Hart, and Noah Myers each managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions.
