Hubbard's Walk-Off Gives Paducah Chiefs Victory Over Dubois County Bombers

Paducah Chiefs seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off double at the end of the game to topple Dubois County Bombers. The game was tied at five with Paducah Chiefs batting in the bottom of the eleventh when Tyler Hubbard doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Dubois County Bombers scored three runs in the sixth inning, but Paducah Chiefs still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Dubois County Bombers came thanks to a single by Nolan Ramsey and a groundout by Payton Mattingly.

In the first inning, Paducah Chiefs got their offense started when Blake Johnson homered on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Paducah Chiefs tied things up at five when Andrew Lannon was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Brodie Lenon was the winning pitcher for Paducah Chiefs. He went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Brady Bibbs and Isaiah Glidden entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Jacob Frankel took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. He surrendered one run on two hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four.
