Henderson Flash wins the contest against Dubois County Bombers on Saturday, 5-4

Dubois County Bombers got things moving in the first inning, when John McDonald singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Henderson Flash pulled away for good with three runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Nolan Fertig singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run and Paul Haupt homered on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring two runs.

Jacob Tapp earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Henderson Flash. He lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out ten. Dillon Day threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Day recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Evan Sankey took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. He surrendered five runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out two.

Henderson Flash hit two home runs on the day. Evan Keller had a four-bagger in the third inning. Haupt went deep in the fifth inning.

Henderson Flash racked up nine hits. Keller and Haupt each racked up multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Keller went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits. Henderson Flash was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ryne Travis made the most plays with 12.

Dubois County Bombers tallied ten hits. Nick Gonzales, McDonald, and Evan Kahre all managed multiple hits for Dubois County Bombers. Gonzales led Dubois County Bombers with three hits in five at-bats.
