Thursday was a long day for Fulton Railroaders, falling to Hoptown Hoppers 20-4.

Fulton Railroaders put up four runs in the fourth inning. Jack Gallagher and Nate Sumner all drove in runs in the frame.

Hoptown Hoppers scored ten runs in the fourth inning. MJ Rookard, Matt Keane, Cole Cummings, Cody Hartness, Blake Jackson, and Rookard powered the big inning with RBIs.

Brian Coffey led the Hoptown Hoppers to victory on the mound. He surrendered four runs on seven hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one. Kendall Marshall threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Marshall recorded the last seven outs to earn the save for Hoptown Hoppers.

Ian McCoy took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He allowed four hits and five runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.

Fulton Railroaders launched one home run on the day. Gallagher had a four-bagger in the fourth inning.

Fulton Railroaders collected nine hits on the day. Tyler McCown and Sumner each racked up multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Sumner and McCown each collected two hits to lead Fulton Railroaders.

Hoptown Hoppers tallied 11 hits. Keane, Hartness, and Jackson all collected multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Keane led Hoptown Hoppers with three hits in four at-bats.
