Reid Homan Drives In Four To Seal Paducah Chiefs's Victory Over Fulton Railroaders
Reid Homan came to the ballpark and meant business on Tuesday, driving in four on three hits to lead Paducah Chiefs past Fulton Railroaders 8-6 on Tuesday. Homan drove in runs on a triple in the second and a single in the fifth.
There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Paducah Chiefs collected 11 hits and Fulton Railroaders had five.
In the first inning, Fulton Railroaders got their offense started when Sam Stohr's sac fly scored one run for Fulton Railroaders.
Mason Vineyard earned the victory on the mound for Paducah Chiefs. He surrendered four runs on four hits over five innings, striking out two. Isaiah Glidden and Logan Bowen entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Bowen recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Paducah Chiefs.
Ashton Plymale took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He allowed eight hits and five runs over four innings.
Paducah Chiefs totaled 11 hits in the game. Homan, Brandon Kelly, and Peyton Sockwell all had multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Homan led Paducah Chiefs with three hits in four at-bats.
Cameron Maclntosh went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
