Four RBI Day For Blake Jackson Spells Out Victory For Hoptown Hoppers Over Fulton Railroaders

Hoptown Hoppers defeated Fulton Railroaders 13-5 on Friday thanks in part to Blake Jackson, who drove in four runners. Jackson drove in runs in the first and a home run in the fifth.

Fulton Railroaders scored three runs in the eighth inning, but Hoptown Hoppers still managed to pull out the victory. Fulton Railroaders scored its runs on a home run by Matt Higgins.

In the first inning, Hoptown Hoppers got their offense started. Jackson was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Hoptown Hoppers notched four runs in the third inning. Hoptown Hoppers's big inning was driven by singles by John Reed and MJ Rookard, a sacrifice fly by Tyler Graham, and a groundout by Max Remy.

Trey Fields took the win for Hoptown Hoppers. He surrendered two runs on six hits over six innings, striking out one and walking one. Kyle Turner and Graham entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Hayden Fox took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He went three innings, allowing seven runs on five hits and striking out four.

Hoptown Hoppers launched one home run on the day. Jackson went yard in the fifth inning.

Hoptown Hoppers tallied 13 hits in the game. Reed, Jackson, and Cody Hartness all collected multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Jackson and Reed each managed three hits to lead Hoptown Hoppers.

Fulton Railroaders tallied eight hits. James Nix and Sam Stohr each collected multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Fulton Railroaders didn't commit a single error in the field. Justin Rodriguez had 15 chances in the field, the most on the team.
