Henderson Flash Clinches Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Fulton Railroaders

Henderson Flash defeated Fulton Railroaders 8-7 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game. Henderson Flash trailed 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Paul Haupt doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Despite falling down by four runs in the first inning, Fulton Railroaders tried to fight back. Fulton Railroaders managed seven runs in the failed comeback. Tyler McCown, Justin Rodriguez, Brendan Williams, Noah Haupt, Williams, and Cameron Maclntosh fueled the rally with RBIs.

Fulton Railroaders took an early lead in the second inning when Haupt singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring two runs.

Braden White took the win for Henderson Flash. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking one. Andy Samuelson threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Samuelson recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Chance Shepard took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He allowed zero hits and two runs walking one.

Brian Baxa started the game for Fulton Railroaders. He allowed four hits and five runs over two innings, striking out one Dillon Day started the game for Henderson Flash. He surrendered seven runs on four hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one

Haupt went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits. Henderson Flash was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Zach Smith made the most plays with nine.

Haupt led Fulton Railroaders with two hits in four at-bats.
