Muhlenberg County Stallions Loses Lead Early In Defeat

Muhlenberg County Stallions fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 3-1 loss to Fulton Railroaders on Thursday. Fulton Railroaders scored on a double by Jack Gallagher and a wild pitch by Austin Jones in the second inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Fulton Railroaders pitchers struck out nine, while Muhlenberg County Stallions sat down four.

Fulton Railroaders pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Gallagher doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run and Jones's sac fly scored one run for Fulton Railroaders.

Ian McCoy pitched Fulton Railroaders to victory. He allowed three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out nine.

Zack Tong took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out three and walking one.

Jalen Horton, Javy Lopez, and Michael Brown each managed one hit to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Fulton Railroaders racked up seven hits in the game. RJ Green and Matt Higgins each managed multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Green went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
