Henderson Flash stole the lead late and defeated Paducah Chiefs 5-2 on Saturday. The game was tied at one with Henderson Flash batting in the bottom of the fifth when Jacob Mulcahy singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Paducah Chiefs fired up the offense in the second inning, when Reid Pope hit a solo homer.

Henderson Flash evened things up at one in the bottom of the second inning. Brodie Brown hit a solo homer.

Henderson Flash notched three runs in the sixth inning. Henderson Flash scored its runs on a home run by Nick Barrett.

Jacob Bowles earned the victory on the hill for Henderson Flash. He surrendered two runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.

John Dowless took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. He went six innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out four.

Henderson Flash socked two home runs on the day. Barrett had a dinger in the sixth inning. Brown put one out in the second inning.

Clayton Mehlbauer, Brown, Tyler Roberts, Mulcahy, Zach Smith, and Barrett each collected one hit to lead Henderson Flash. Henderson Flash was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ryne Travis had the most chances in the field with 11.
