Henderson Flash Defeats Muhlenberg County Stallions Despite Allowing 3-Run Inning

Henderson Flash weathered a scare by Muhlenberg County Stallions in the third inning where Henderson Flash coughed up three runs, but Henderson Flash still won 8-3 on Monday. Ronnie Allen and Bryson Horne all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Henderson Flash opened up scoring in the second inning. Bradley Gray homered on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Henderson Flash pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Drew Behling grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored one run for Henderson Flash, and Brodie Brown singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Chaz Adams got the win for Henderson Flash. He surrendered one run on one hit over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one. Matthew Craven and Trey Congleton entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Alan Howe took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He surrendered six runs on five hits over three innings, striking out three.

Cameron Chapman started the game for Henderson Flash. He allowed two hits and two runs over two and a third innings, striking out three

Henderson Flash smacked one home run on the day. Gray had a long ball in the second inning.

Brown went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits. Henderson Flash didn't commit a single error in the field. Aiden McMahan had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
