Owensboro RiverDawgs defeated Hoptown Hoppers 9-2 by consistently putting runs on the scoreboard on Sunday.

Owensboro RiverDawgs opened up scoring in the first inning, when Austin Peterson drew a walk, scoring one run.

Ian Ellis earned the win for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He went six innings, allowing zero runs on four hits and striking out six. Blake Graham, Thomas Cessna, and Chase Thomas all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team toward victory.

Kyle Turner took the loss for the Hoptown Hoppers. He surrendered three runs on four hits over three innings.
