Muhlenberg County Stallions watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 15-11 loss to Madisonville Miners on Friday. Madisonville Miners scored on an error, an error, a sacrifice fly by Sean Kearney, a single by Jay Saunders, and a stolen base by Bernee Sanchez in the first inning.

Noah Myers drove in five runners in the loss. Myers drove in runs on a walk in the sixth, a double in the seventh, and a home run in the ninth.

A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Nate Chevalier, Brennan Hatten, Samuel Stewart, and Tyler Ethridge all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Cole Lyons took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He went four innings, allowing seven runs on four hits and striking out three.

Muhlenberg County Stallions launched one home run on the day. Myers had a four-bagger in the ninth inning.
