Muhlenberg County Stallions fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 3-0 loss to Owensboro RiverDawgs on Sunday. Owensboro RiverDawgs scored on a groundout by Cam Curry in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Spencer Deom in the second inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Owensboro RiverDawgs pitchers struck out four, while Muhlenberg County Stallions sat down three.

Owensboro RiverDawgs got things started in the first inning when Curry grounded out, scoring one run.

A single by Kyle O'Brien in the second inning was a positive for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Ian Ellis earned the win for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He went seven innings, allowing zero runs on five hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Chris Logsdon took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He allowed four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out two.

Cary Holloway, Bryson Horne, Noah Myers, Justin Chauvin, and O'Brien each collected one hit to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Jakob Shuler went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs in hits.
