Kobe Stephens collected four hits in six at-bats, as Owensboro RiverDawgs defeated Muhlenberg County Stallions 14-10 on Sunday. Stephens singled in the third, singled in the fourth, singled in the fifth, and singled in the eighth.

Bats blistered as Owensboro RiverDawgs collected 15 hits and Muhlenberg County Stallions tallied 12 in the high-scoring game.

Muhlenberg County Stallions opened up scoring in the first inning. Bryson Horne drove in one when he singled.

Owensboro RiverDawgs pulled away for good with seven runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Stephens singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Cam Curry drew a walk, scoring one run, Jack Ockerman induced Jakob Shuler to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Bryce Walker singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and Matt Jewell singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions scored three runs in the ninth inning. Javy Lopez, Hunter Combs, and Justin Chauvin each drove in runs during the inning.

Reece Calvert pitched Owensboro RiverDawgs to victory. He went five innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out five. Carlos Pena and Bo Robison entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Robison recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Owensboro RiverDawgs.

Adrian Comas took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out one.

Owensboro RiverDawgs tallied one home run on the day. Curry went deep in the seventh inning.

Owensboro RiverDawgs saw the ball well today, racking up 15 hits in the game. Stephens, Danny Torres, Curry, and Jewell each managed multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Stephens led Owensboro RiverDawgs with four hits in six at-bats. Owensboro RiverDawgs didn't commit a single error in the field. Jewell had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
