Four RBI Day For Seth Bennett Brings In Win For Hoptown Hoppers Over Henderson Flash

Seth Bennett came the ballpark and meant business on Thursday, driving in four on three hits to lead Hoptown Hoppers past Henderson Flash 19-5 on Thursday. Bennett drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the fourth, and a double in the sixth.

Hoptown Hoppers got on the board in the first inning when Bennett singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Cam Barlow got the win for Hoptown Hoppers. He allowed two hits and three runs over four innings, striking out seven. Will Nash and Brennan Crooms entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Jon Cato took the loss for Henderson Flash. He surrendered six runs on three hits over two-thirds of an inning.

Hoptown Hoppers smacked one home run on the day. Chandler Kendall had a dinger in the fourth inning.

Hoptown Hoppers collected 14 hits on the day. Bennett, Drew McGowan, Wyatt Stevenson, Kendall, and Crooms all had multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Bennett went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Hoptown Hoppers in hits.

Josh Johnston led Henderson Flash with two hits in three at bats.
