Four RBI Day For Kyle Hogwood Brings Victory For Owensboro RiverDawgs Over Franklin Duelers
Kyle Hogwood wasted no opportunities at the plate on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs past Franklin Duelers 12-2 on Saturday. Hogwood drove in runs on a home run in the second and a single in the sixth.
Owensboro RiverDawgs grabbed an early lead. Owensboro RiverDawgs scored on a single by Kirk Liebert in the first inning, a double by Parker Stahlman in the second inning, and a home run by Hogwood in the second inning.
Owensboro RiverDawgs knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning, when Liebert singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
Owensboro RiverDawgs pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Stahlman doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Hogwood homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.
Owensboro RiverDawgs scored four runs in the seventh inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Nick Sanders, Jacob White, and Stahlman and by Bailey Falkenstein.
