Paducah Chiefs Loses Lead Early In Defeat

Paducah Chiefs fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-2 loss to Dubois County Bombers on Friday. Dubois County Bombers scored on a single by Andrew (AJ) Arnold and a single by Zuriel Collins in the second inning.

The Paducah Chiefs struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Dubois County Bombers, giving up eight runs.

Paducah Chiefs got things started in the first inning. Ja'lil Akbar grounded out, scoring one run.

Samuel Steimel earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Dubois County Bombers. He went six innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out one and walking one.

Sawyer Smallwood took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. He lasted four innings, allowing five hits and seven runs while striking out four.
