Henderson Flash wins contest against Hoptown Hoppers on Sunday, 5-4

Henderson Flash opened up scoring in the first inning. Trey Hutchison singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Jared Hart was the winning pitcher for Henderson Flash. He surrendered three runs on four hits over five and a third innings, striking out three. Garrett Simpson and Paul Perez entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Perez recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Drew McGowan took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. He went two innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out one.

Henderson Flash hit two home runs on the day. Josh Johnston had a long ball in the seventh inning. Hutchison went yard in the third inning.
