Fulton Railroaders Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Fulton Railroaders fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-5 loss to Dubois County Bombers on Friday. Dubois County Bombers scored on a home run by Tyler Best in the first inning, a home run by Matt Joslin in the third inning, and a single by Tyler Van Pelt in the third inning.
The Fulton Railroaders struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Dubois County Bombers, giving up 13 runs.
Dubois County Bombers took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Joslin hit a solo homer and Van Pelt singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Fulton Railroaders notched three runs in the second inning. Garrett Guymon, Nathan Bynum, and O'Neil Burgos each had RBIs in the big inning.
Dubois County Bombers scored four runs in the ninth inning. Best, Easton Stewart, and Joslin all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
