Henderson Flash defeated Muhlenberg County Stallions 17-15 on Friday after taking the lead late in the game. Henderson Flash was down 14-13 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Trevor Campbell doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.

Henderson Flash earned the victory despite allowing Muhlenberg County Stallions to score nine runs in the fifth inning. Muhlenberg County Stallions batters contributing to the big inning included Tanner Bray, Bentley Boekhout, Peyton Caraway, Eric Hartless, Kevin Sosa, and Mason Lundgrin, who all drove in runs.

Henderson Flash got things moving in the first inning, when Nick Rucker's sac fly scored one run for Henderson Flash.

Tyler Schultz earned the win for Henderson Flash. The righty went two innings, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out three. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Cody Schultz, Colby Knutzen, Isaac Housman, and Ethan Cartwright all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Peyton Burton took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righty surrendered four runs on one hit over one inning, striking out two.

Blake Ciuffetelli started the game for Henderson Flash. The southpaw went four and a third innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out one Scott Rouse started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The pitcher lasted four and a third innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out three

Henderson Flash collected nine hits. Trey Hutchison, Campbell, and Noah Nelson all managed multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Nelson, Campbell, and Hutchison each collected two hits to lead Henderson Flash.
