Paducah Chiefs Defeats Madisonville Miners, 5-1

Paducah Chiefs defeated Madisonville Miners 5-1 on Monday.

Paducah Chiefs fired up the offense in the second inning, when Sam Fagan singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Brycen Parrish was the winning pitcher for Paducah Chiefs. Parrish lasted six innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking one. Elijah Longshore and Will Gross entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Gross recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Paducah Chiefs.

Freddie Reams took the loss for Madisonville Miners. The pitcher surrendered three runs on four hits over five innings, striking out three.

Fagan led Paducah Chiefs with three hits in four at bats.
