Three Pitchers Team Up As Henderson Flash Defeats Hoptown Hoppers In Shut-Out

Henderson Flash defeated Hoptown Hoppers 10-0 on Thursday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Tyler Schultz struck out Benjamin (B.J.) Banyon to finish off the game.

Henderson Flash secured the victory thanks to six runs in the eighth inning. Henderson Flash put the pressure on, lead by by Nolan Cook and Nick Wimber, a walk by Ryan Dos Santos, and a single by Jacob Mulcahy.

Henderson Flash scored six runs in the eighth inning. The offensive onslaught by Henderson Flash was led by Dos Santos, Cook, Wimber, and Mulcahy, who each had RBIs in the inning.

A single by Riley Garczynski in the first inning was a positive for Hoptown Hoppers.

Tyler McLaren took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The righthander surrendered four runs on six hits over five innings, striking out three.

Henderson Flash racked up nine hits. Brandon DanielsTrevor Campbell, and Noah Nelson each collected multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Nelson, Campbell, and Daniels each collected two hits to lead Henderson Flash. Henderson Flash was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Gabe Bratetic had the most chances in the field with eight.
