Paducah Chiefs fell 6-3 to Henderson Flash on Wednesday despite out-hitting them nine to eight.
Tyler Cruse took the win for Henderson Flash. The lefty went five innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out four. Colby Knutzen and Tyler Schultz entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Corbin Hayden took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. Hayden lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out one.
Paducah Chiefs tallied nine hits in the game. Brandon Hager and Cade Rogers each collected multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Hager led Paducah Chiefs with three hits in three at bats.
Santrel Farmer went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits.
