Late Score Costs Muhlenberg County Stallions Against Full Count Rhythm

Muhlenberg County Stallions stayed in it until the end, but Full Count Rhythm pulled away late in a 5-4 victory on Thursday. The game was tied at four with Full Count Rhythm batting in the top of the seventh when Gunnar Ricketts tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Muhlenberg County Stallions got things started in the second inning. Bentley Boekhout homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.

Full Count Rhythm evened things up at four in the top of the sixth inning. An error scored one run for Full Count Rhythm.

Carson McClure took the win for Full Count Rhythm. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over two and a third innings, walking one. Drew Robertson and Kyle Magrans entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Magrans recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Full Count Rhythm.

Austin Nichols started the game for Full Count Rhythm. The righthander allowed six hits and four runs over three innings, striking out six Trevor McGee started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The lefthander went six innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out four
