Madisonville Miners defeated Fulton Railroaders 7-3 on Friday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with Madisonville Miners batting in the bottom of the sixth when Reed Latimer singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

In the first inning, Fulton Railroaders got their offense started. Fulton Railroaders scored one run when Davis Crane singled.

Madisonville Miners took the lead for good with five runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth Will Cline singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run, Justin Ramirez was hit by a pitch, driving in a run, Calyn Halvorson's sac fly scored one run for Madisonville Miners, and Brennon Williams grounded out, scoring one run.

Connor Phalin was the winning pitcher for Madisonville Miners. The righty lasted one inning, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out one and walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Myles Martinez, Tyler Yotkewich, Hunter Davis, and Mikey Clements all securing outs and ultimately the victory. Martinez recorded the last four outs to earn the save for Madisonville Miners.

Adam Weihe took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The righthander allowed two hits and four runs over one-third of an inning, striking out one.

Will Gibbs, Evan Liddie, Ramirez, Latimer, Cline, and Halvorson all had one hit to lead Madisonville Miners. Madisonville Miners was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Cline had the most chances in the field with nine.

Fulton Railroaders didn't commit a single error in the field. Crane had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
